Lukashenko dissatisfied with approaches to Minsk City project

17.01.2014
MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is dissatisfied with the approaches to the implementation of the Minsk City project. “I am really puzzled by the approaches of Myasnikovich and Ladutko. We have taken all decisions on the Minsk City project. Why no proposals have been submitted yet,” the head of state said at a government meeting to discuss the residential construction in Minsk Oblast for Minsk city residents on 17 January.

“Do you really think that this 300-hectare plot of land will not be controlled in due manner. The one who will offer the best conditions should develop the territory. How much will you be beating the air,” the President asked.

The Minsk City multifunctional complex will occupy more than 300 hectares in the central part of Minsk. It will include a residential area, commercial real estate and office buildings.
