Council of Republic ratifies visa abolition agreement between Belarus and Venezuela

The Council of Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus ratified the agreement between Belarus and Venezuela on abolition of visas in diplomatic, service and official passports. Vitold Pestis, member of the Permanent Commission for International Affairs and National Security of the Council of Republic, said that in line with the agreement the citizens of Belarus and Venezuela who hold diplomatic, service and official passports will be able to enter the other country, leave it, cross it by transit or stay there within 90 days. This agreement facilitates mutual trips of the Belarusian and Venezuelan citizens and promotes bilateral cooperation in different areas, Vitold Pestis noted. He said that this bill was introduced by the Council of Ministers and adopted by the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
