Belarus, Vietnam sign new agreements on cooperation

HANOI, 29 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Vietnam have signed a package of new agreements to boost bilateral cooperation. The documents were signed at the meeting between Belarus Premier Mikhail Myasnikovich and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung in Vietnam on 29 November, BelTA has learnt. The two countries inked an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in education and one more regarding temporary employment of nationals. Besides, a number of ministerial agreements were concluded including one between the Justice Ministries of Belarus and Vietnam on cooperation in forensic inquiry. The State Customs Committee of Belarus and the Main Customs Department of the Finance Ministry of Vietnam agreed to cooperate in sharing customs statistics data in bilateral trade. New contracts were concluded on the supplies of potash fertilizers to Vietnam. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Minsk Automobile Plant, Minsk Motor Plant and Vietnam’s Veam. Belarus PM Mikhail Myasnikovich told the press briefing that the signed documents would promote closer contacts between the countries. “The agreements and contracts signed by MAZ, Minsk Motor Plant, Belarusian Potash Company, Belgorkhimprom show that we have chosen the right path of development,” the official said.
