Belarus beat Bulgaria in friendly

MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) – Sergei Kislyak scored midway through the first half to give Belarus a 1-0 win over Bulgaria in a friendly in Minsk on 10 August, BelTA has learnt.

In the previous meetings Belarus lost to Bulgaria three times: 1-4 (2000 friendly), 0-2 and 1-2 (EUFA UERO 2007 qualifying rounds).

Yesterday’s match was the last for the Belarusian national team ahead of the two UEFA UERO 2012 qualifying rounds with Bosnia and Herzegovina (Minsk, 2 September; Zenica, 6 September).
