Turnout at Belarus’ local elections over 79%

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) - The turnout at the elections to the local councils of deputies of the 26th convocation in Belarus exceeded 79%, BelTA learnt from the central election commission. According to the data available at 8h00pm on 25 April, the turnover in Belarus was 79.1%, or 5,560.418 voters. The biggest turnout was registered in the Vitebsk oblast (90.9%). The lowest turnout was in Minsk, with 58.7%. The turnout made 78.7% in the Brest oblast, 84.4% in the Gomel oblast, 80.6% in the Grodno oblast and 81.7% in the Minsk oblast and 85.7% in the Mogilev oblast.
