No queues at Belarusian-Polish border checkpoint Kozlovichi-Kukuryki

There are no queues at the border checkpoint Kozlovichi-Kukuryki at the Belarusian-Polish border, the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communication Ministry told BelTA. At 9 a.m. on February 4 the queue for entering Belarus through the border checkpoint Berestovitsa was 5 km long or 230 vehicles. The queue at the border checkpoint Bruzgi has about 150 heavy haulers. The queue for entering Belarus through the border checkpoint Kamennyi Log makes 0.5 km, with no queues at other border checkpoints. Meanwhile, the source noted, the situation remains unstable. The Polish customs service still does not operate at full capacity. Besides, the Transport and Communication Ministry sent letters to the Foreign Ministry, the Polish government, with no responses so far. One day of a demurred heavy hauler, which is used for international transportation, brings $300-400 in losses. Transport companies, exporters and importers bear losses. The Justice Ministry of Belarus is considering the possibility of contacting the Polish authorities in order to get the losses reimbursed.
