Christmas teaches us to live in unity, peace and concord, Alexander Lukashenko says

The Christmas holiday brings great happiness to millions of Christians, teaches them to live in unity, peace and concord, follow the moral canons and act according to the rules of the truth and humanism, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said in a message of congratulations to the Orthodox Christians on the occasion of the Christmas holiday which is celebrated on January 7, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service. “We celebrate this wonderful holiday with our hearts imbued with great love, hope and confidence that we will be able to overcome any difficulties and ordeals. Christmas is the time for peace of mind, deep thoughts and good deeds. Therefore, attending the church or meeting with our family members at home, let us forget all the quarrels, beg our relatives and friends’ pardon for anything wrongly done, open our hearts for the purity, kindness and beauty,” the message said.
