Belarus-Venezuela bilateral relations discussed

MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke with President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez by telephone on 17 August, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.

Alexander Lukashenko asked about the state of health of the Venezuelan President. Hugo Chavez told Alexander Lukashenko about the progress in his treatment. Belarus’ head of state wished his counterpart speedy recovery.

The Presidents discussed in detail the development of bilateral relations and agreed that the Belarusian delegation will pay a visit to Venezuela. The heads of state also agreed to define the terms of the visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Venezuela in the near future.
