Belarus, Russia resolute to resolve all problems in their relations

MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia are resolute to resolve all problems and difficulties in the bilateral relations, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko as he met with Moscow Oblast Governor Boris Gromov in Minsk on 8 April. “I will be forthright: once we were taking giant leaps building the Union State, then we started taking small steps but we are doing a specific deed, creating equal terms for our people and economic operators,” reminded the head of state. “We have stumbled a bit but the latest consultations with representatives of the Russian Federation government, my personal contacts with the President of Russia testify that both Russia and Belarus have a huge potential and a desire to find a way out of the situation. We understand and the Kremlin does that we absolutely don’t need any confrontation, problems and difficulties. We have enough of those creating these difficulties”. “We should be aiming to overcome them. But it should be done beautifully like brothers do,” he added.
