Belarus’ business delegation in Lipetsk Oblast for talks

MOSCOW, 15 June (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Trade Minister Edward Matulis is on a visit to Russia’s Lipetsk Oblast on 15-16 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the regional administration.

The delegation included representatives of Belarus’ leading companies. They are to discuss topical issues of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Lipetsk Oblast. They will take part in a match-making session arranged by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lipetsk Oblast.

Besides, the Belarusian delegation will tour local enterprises, including Energia, Agrofirma 15 Years of October, the industrial park Kuznetskaya Sloboda, and the Astapovo special agribusiness economic zone.

In 2010 the trade between Belarus and Lipetsk Oblast rose by 35% to $246 million. The Belarusian export increased by almost 50% to reach $86.2 million.
