Belarus, Brazil working on draft agreement to lift visa requirements

Belarus and Brazil are working on a draft agreement to lift visa requirements for travels of citizens, Charge D'affaires Ad Interim of Brazil in Belarus Jose Eduardo Giraudo told the press on 1 June.

At present no visas are required for travels between Belarus and Brazil for holders of diplomatic and service passports. The new agreement will allow all citizens to bypass visa requirements for travels lasting up to 90 days.

“We will work on lifting visa requirements using the scheme we followed while working with the Russian Federation. Last year we signed an agreement on lifting visa requirements for tourism and business travels for a short term of up to three months. We will do our best to advance in this area,” remarked Jose Eduardo Giraudo.
