Alexander Lukashenko urges to avoid excessive campaigning

MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Alexander Lukashenko urged his authorized representatives to avoid excessive campaigning. “I would like point out one feature of our pre-election campaign. We should avoid excesses in our campaigning and in our desire to defend everything we have achieved. If we boast and exaggerate, it will do no good for us. There should be no excesses in anything,” the President said in the meeting with his authorized representatives. He added that the team of his authorized representatives features persons of various occupations, who can make his ideas clear to the common people. “The point is that you are associated with the people close to the President and pursue his policy. Moreover, you advocate this policy, and you took part in creating everything we have nowadays,” said Alexander Lukashenko when addressing his representatives. The President stressed that these persons should inform people about Belarus’ recent achievements and plans for the future. You must defend the things that we have created, and you should explain the goals for the nearest five years to common people, Alexander Lukashenko said. He added that his election program has been already published. It describes priorities and main goals for the next five-year term. Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that hard work is the only way to achieve any goal.
