Alexander Lukashenko in Qatar on official visit

MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is in the State of Qatar on an official visit, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.

The Belarusian leader is expected to hold one-on-one and extended meetings with Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah Al Thani.

The talks will highlight bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

The sides are expected to sign bilateral agreements on air communications, petrochemistry, law, banking sector, prevention and mitigation of emergency situations, culture, media and tourism.

The Belarusian head of state will also visit several cultural and educational institutions in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
